Character creation doesn’t get too complicated, but you might hesitate over choosing your character’s Background and the perks that come along with it.

Aside from the cosmetics, you'll also have to pick your "Background" which is an initial set of starting skills and equipment. Non-e of these bonuses are truly exclusive and you can eventually earn everything from all of the other Backgrounds.

And if you want to make sure you always have fresh ingredients, craft a hoe to clear out some farmland, and plant the seeds that you’ll inevitably pick up during your travels.

Excellent game. As you probably know, it's basically a top-down version of Terraria or Minecraft, but in my opinion vastly superior to both. Minecraft has hideous visuals, while Core Keeper is beautiful to look at. Terraria has the infuriating issue of being CONSTANTLY bombarded by enemy attacks, always preventing you from doing what you are trying to do. Core Keeper, conversely, is much more respectful of the player, typically allowing you to engage enemies Core Keeper Gameplay on your own terms. It's also easier to prevent enemies spawning where you don't want them to be. So you have the freedom to build a house, craft items, farm animals and plants, and cook food without being constantly bothered (unless you set up your base in a spot with a lot of enemy spawn tiles, but you can remove those to "cleanse" it anyway as mentioned above).

Like many sandbox survival games, Core Keeper throws you right into the action. The lack of clear objectives and demands from the game is part of what makes it good cozy fun, but it can also be a bit confusing.

A new Jewelry workbench allows the crafting of unique jewelry items. Additionally, a Table Saw at the Electronics Table lets players cut wood into planks, enhancing crafting possibilities.

The furnace requires x20 dirt blocks to make. Once it is completed, place it down in the base. To make ingots, interact with the furnace and put the desired ore into the empty slot.
